Santa Rosa has put up a beautiful, temporary, synthetic ice skating rink in Courthouse Square, in the heart of Downtown Santa Rosa! Sonoma County Pride will be hosting the ice skating rink on 4 days in December, and will receive the proceeds of their sessions! They are looking for volunteers for 4.5 hours shifts to perform tasks such as checking in ticket holders, monitoring the rink for safety, providing skate rentals to skaters, sharpening and sanitizing the skates, and HELPING SPREAD GOOD CHEER!
Sonoma Pride will be hosting during the following times, with shifts within each block:
Dec 17: 3-7pm
Dec 18: 11am-7pm
Dec 24: 11am-3pm
Dec 26: 11am-7pm
Sonoma County Pride asks that volunteers:
Be 14 or older
Be fully vaccinated
Complete a waiver
Enjoy a fun, festive, sometimes-fast-paced day outdoors!

About the Organization:
Sonoma County Pride exists to promote equality for all. Working with community leaders they work to support the non-profit community and to preserve and educate the Sonoma County community about the rich LGBT history of their home. They are an all-volunteer non profit works to promote equality for all, to be a liaison within the community, and to recognize and celebrate the achievements and contributions made by their LGBT family and friends.
