Volunteer at Oakland's Black Joy Parade!

The Black Joy Parade is the largest free, family-friendly event of its kind in California. A parade and festival to celebrate the Black experience past, present and future. A space to be present, be creative, be open and be free. The Black Joy Parade exists to provide the Black community and allies a live experience that celebrates the Black influence on cultures of the world.

This powerful event can’t happen without volunteers making sure everything is in place and ready to go! Help out on site throughout the day with everything from set up and admission to coordinating talent and lighting!

When: Sunday, February 27, 2022, 11:30am-11:00pm. Volunteer shifts start at 3 hours long

Where: 14th and Broadway, Oakland CA 94612

Requirements: Volunteers will be required to show proof of vaccination upon arriving
