OpenHouse SF is currently looking for tech support volunteers to support their regular programming. If this interests you, they ask that you join their Activities Coordinator, Faire, for an orientation/training session THIS Friday, March 4th from noon to 1pm. Faire asks that folks are prepared to turn on their camera for this meeting so that he can know what you look like while you are getting acquainted.
Generally, this is what the role looks like:
· This is a minimum 3 month commitment. 6 months is ideal but Openhouse offers flexibility in commitment
· The majority of our programs go on sometime between 11AM to 5:30PM Monday through Friday
· You will need to check your Openhouse email periodically the day of the group up until the group is finished.
· You will launch the group 15 mins prior to the group and remain on the call at least until the group starts, but otherwise until you are done giving support. Then you will need to be available for the occasional tech support phone call during the duration of the group.
If this seems difficult, OpenHouse recommends you attend the orientation session and ask Faire questions, it may ease your mind or we might think of other ways you can assist our seniors.
After signing up below, you will receive an email putting you in contact with Jasmine who will provide you the zoom link and make sure OpenHouse knows you are attending. Please look out for this email so that you have the link!
