Volunteer with Gay for Good San Diego & USS Midway

Gay For Good San Diego mobilizes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) and ally volunteers to promote diversity, foster inclusion and strengthen ties to the broader San Diego community. We facilitate welcoming, inclusive service projects in support of a wide range of causes throughout San Diego, and we look forward to meeting you.

Volunteer Roles: Get ready volunteers we are going back aboard the USS Midway! We are proud to partner with our friends at the USS Midway Museum cleaning and restoring the aircraft carrier in preparation for museum tours. With our support, we will help maintain and prepare the legendary aircraft carrier for visitors from all over the world. This is a great opportunity to make a difference while learning about the incredible history behind the longest-serving aircraft carrier.

Time:  8:30am to 11:00am
Location: 910 N. Harbor Drive, San Diego CA 92101

Meeting Location: Everyone should meet at Brow 5 (the first set of stairs as you approach the ship from Harbor Drive).

Parking:  Parking meters are located all along Harbor Drive.  ACE parking is located in front of the museum, they charge $10 per car.
