Volunteer with Gay for Good San Diego & The Animal Pad

Gay For Good San Diego mobilizes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) and ally volunteers to promote diversity, foster inclusion and strengthen ties to the broader San Diego community. We facilitate welcoming, inclusive service projects in support of a wide range of causes throughout San Diego, and we look forward to meeting you.

Volunteer Role: Calling all dog lovers! Join us as we partner with our friends at The Animal Pad in support of their Pupapalooza event.  For this event we will be assisting with the set up for the event to include, setting up canopies, tables, chairs, decorations. Once the event starts, we will be monitoring the adoptable dogs, keeping their water bowls full, and taking pictures.  Come join us as we help find a forever home for these beautiful dogs.

Parking:  Parking is available at the location.

Volunteers are welcome to carpool or use public transportation or purchase parking in a different location.

Additional Details:

• Face coverings are encouraged to be worn by unvaccinated volunteers

• Casual and comfortable clothing

• Closed toe shoes are required

• Limited to 25 volunteers

• Must be 8 years or older, volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
