Help at the 65th SFFILM Independent Film Festival


The longest-running film festival in the Americas, the San Francisco International Film Festival, is an extraordinary showcase of cinematic discovery and a major cultural event in the Bay Area. Get immersed in the art and culture as you volunteer to help keep it running!

Volunteer Roles: Support with guest and filmmaker check-in, sign-up help, hospitality for special guests

When: April 21–May 1, 2022

Where: Castro Theatre and other Mission/Castro-based venues

Requirements: Volunteers must be available for 3+ shifts (shifts are 2-4 hours) throughout the timeline of the festival

After signing up below, you will receive an automated email putting you in touch with Nevin from SFFILM. He will coordinate with you about shifts and your availability.

The SFFILM Festival is deeply rooted in the culture and process of film appreciation—film as an art form and as a meaningful agent for social change—and is an important showcase for the most searching and innovative films from around the globe.
