Volunteer for Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation Holiday Benefit!


On Sunday, December 5th, the Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation will have their first live event since December 2019! "Help is On the Way for the Holidays" will feature a concert and silent auction. This event will benefit Project Open Hand. The following are volunteer positions needed for the show:

Sunday, December 5th

4:00 -- 6:00 pm: Lobby Set up (4 volunteers) (comfortable clothes/shoes, light lifting required).

5:45 -- 7:45 pm: Vaccination Card Check (2 volunteers): Check vaccination cards at door. (dressy attire, comfortable shoes)

6:30 - 10:00 pm: Ushers (4 volunteers) (with multiple responsibilities): Seating guests (7:00 - 7:45), lobby bussing during intermission (8:30 - 9:00), auction & lobby breakdown (9:00 -- 10:00). (All black attire, comfortable shoes). These volunteers may not get to see the second half of the show. 

6:30 -- 11:00 pm: Ushers (4 volunteers) (with multiple responsibilities): Seating guests (7:00- 7:45), lobby bussing during intermission (8:30 - 9:00), stage décor breakdown (9:45 - 11:00) (All black attire, comfortable shoes). These volunteers will watch the second half of the show. 

Monday, December 6th

Drivers for one or two performers (SFO or possibly Oakland Airport) (1 or 2 Volunteer Positions)

After signing up here, you will be sent an automatic email connecting you the REAF point of contact, Douglas Hudson. From there, you will be able to touch base with Douglas to confirm which shift you are interested in.

Organization Description: The Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Arts/Health organization dedicated to raising funds for AIDS services, hunger programs and programs for underserved youth in the Bay Area through the production of quality entertainment programs.
