Help at Parivar and El/La Translatinas’ TDoV of the Global South Event

Trans Day of Visibility is an annual awareness day celebrated around the world. The day is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of transgender and gender nonconforming people while raising awareness of the work that still needs to be done to achieve trans justice. This event will celebrate TDoV by showcasing the art, cultures and struggles of the transgender community of the global south living right here in America and struggling to exist in their intersectional existence. Support this cause by volunteering!

Volunteer Roles: Helping with guest check-in, security, bringing food in from trucks, helping elders navigate the space

When: Thursday, March 31st, 2022, 11am-3pm

Requirements: This event is no longer TGNC-only, cis allies are welcome to volunteer.

Organization Description:

Parivar Bay Area celebrates the intersectionality of Trans Queer and South Asian identities and builds a community of light, love, and acceptance. Reclaiming spaces beyond cisness, Parivar uplifts South Asian Trans and Gender Non-Conforming (GNC) individuals.
