Groovy Volunteer Crew needed for The Oakland LGBTQ+ Community Center Disco Gala

The Oakland LGBTQ+ Community Center works each year to raise essential funding to support the vital services they provide to the trans and queer community of Oakland. This year's electric night of fundraising will be the 5th Anniversary Boogie Wonderland Disco Gala, held on Saturday, November 12th from 5pm-9pm in downtown Oakland. Hosted at the historic California Ballroom, this event will feature dinner, drinks, drag performances, an awards ceremony, best dressed contest, DJ music, dancing and more! Volunteers are needed to help make this event happen.

Volunteer Roles: Volunteers are needed to help with event registration, waitstaff, event breakdown and setup. It’s time to break out those bell bottoms and dancing shoes! Event registration and waitstaff volunteers are strongly encouraged to dress up in disco inspired outfits but are not required.

Perks: All volunteers will receive a free meal while volunteering, and are invited to enjoy the festivities after their shift!

When: Saturday, November 12th from 5:00pm - 9:00pm. Various volunteer shifts are available from 3:00pm - 10:00pm.
