Volunteer with Gay for Good San Diego, Front Runners-Walkers, and AFC Half Marathon Event

Gay For Good San Diego mobilizes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) and ally volunteers to promote diversity, foster inclusion and strengthen ties to the broader San Diego community. We facilitate welcoming, inclusive service projects in support of a wide range of causes throughout San Diego, and we look forward to meeting you.

Front Runners & Walkers is San Diego’s LGBTQ+ running club. This event is in collaboration with America’s Finest City half marathon event.

Volunteer Role: Volunteers will assist with setting up, passing out water, gathering discarded water cups, and breaking the set up down.

Date: Sunday, August 20, 2023, 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM

Location: The corner of 6th Avenue & Elm Street, San Diego, CA, 92101, United States

Additional Details:

• Front Runners and Walkers of San Diego will provide coffee and snacks

• Face coverings are encouraged to be worn by unvaccinated volunteers

• Casual and comfortable clothing

• Closed toe shoes are required

• Don’t forget sunscreen and/or a hat for sun protection

• Must be 16 years or older
