Volunteer for Trans Family Support Services’s Boo Bash!

Join the Trans Family Support Services for their Annual Boo Bash — the Queerest Halloween Block-Style Party for Youth & Families! This will be an afternoon full of fun, including games, trick or treating, a costume contest, and drag show! This event is in partnership with Fabulous Hillcrest. Presenting Sponsor Rich’s Nightclub.

Volunteer Roles:

  • Game Booth Operator - Engage with and assist attendees with carnival games including cornhole, ring toss, etc.

  • Photo Booth Attendant - Engage with and assist attendees with taking group/family photos

Volunteer Requirements: As this is a trans-centered event, it is crucial that all volunteers respect everyone’s pronouns and use trans-inclusive / non-gendered language when referring to others. Volunteers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to participate in this event. This event is open to volunteers under 18.

Date/Time: Saturday, October 29th from 11am to 2pm

Location: The Hillcrest Flagpole: 1600 University Ave., San Diego, CA 92103

Parking: Please park around Normal Street and the Hillcrest DMV
