The Bay Area's drag and queer performance festival is back with their first ever block party spectacular! Kings, queens, and queers from the Bay Area and beyond will join together to be part of this annual celebration of local queer culture. Oaklash is dedicated to building new and ever-expanding stages to showcase & elevate Bay Area queer talent. Support Oakland drag and arts while spending time around amazing performances by volunteering to help with Oaklash 2022!
Volunteer Roles: ushers, tip kittens, set up/strike, ticketing, backstage assistants, videographers, stage managers, harm reduction officers, A/V assistants, and more!

Where: 9th Street between Broadway and Washington in Old Oakland
Requirements: Volunteers must be 18+, venue is fully ADA accessible

The organization was created to showcase performances that are boundary pushing, provocative, and unique to the sensibility of the Bay Area. They aim to stay true to the history of Oakland as a home to creative renaissance rooted in diversity.
