LYRIC Paid Peer Mentorship Program

Applications are due on Friday, February 9th, 2024.

Peer Mentorship is a paid opportunity for folx who are 18 to 24 years of age through LYRIC (Lavender Youth Recreation and Information Center) LGBTQQ+ center.

The mentorship program is designed to connect and support a young person in the community to a caring adult. The program length is 12 weeks long and includes one-on-one meetings with your mentor and group meetings with other peers in the training sessions.

Youth are paid $18.93 per hour for this Peer Mentorship program and meet with paired mentees for 6 hours of 1 on 1 sessions and attend 18 hours of group meetings during the program.

Please complete the application sent to your email after signing up below so that LYRIC can learn more about you and your interest in the program. The information is also to help them going through the matching process later on.

The next Mentorship cohort begins on: March 6th 2024

Cohorts meet on Wednesdays from 4-6PM. Exact meeting dates and location shared only with program participants.

What to Expect: Individual meetings with a mentor, supportive and engaging cohort meetings and final celebration.
