January Mail Processing with Flying Over Walls is on Sunday, 1/14/24, from 12pm - 3pm at 2929 Summit Street in Oakland, CA.
Important information:
You all will be answering mail from their incarcerated members and updating their inside member database.
This event is indoor, wheelchair accessible, masks are REQUIRED, snacks are provided.
Bringing a laptop is helpful but not necessary.
Please be aware that they often receive letters recounting violence people are experiencing inside - they encourage volunteers to take breaks and ask for support if needed.
