G4G San Francisco + Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center
Join Gay For Good San Francisco For Their March Service Event!
Gay For Good volunteers will be helping to clear up the grounds of the Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center. This is an annual favorite event, and there’s lots for you to do, following the recent high winds which have destroyed a fence leaving lots of scattered debris. You'll also be weeding, sweeping and clearing paths to make this a pleasurable place to be for the users of the Center.
Date: Saturday, March 9
Time: 9am to 1pm
Location: The Pomeroy Center is located at 207 Skyline Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94132. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start for registration. Meet outside the front entrance.
Recommended Attire: Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes. Gloves will be provided.
COVID Guidelines: Masks are optional. Please cancel if you are not feeling well.
Project Leads: Paul (he/him) and Bill (he/him)
About Their Partner: Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center is a San Francisco nonprofit located in the Outer Sunset neighborhood, adjacent to the zoo. The Center operates as a community day center for children, teens and adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic and acquired brain injuries. Our participants come to the Center daily and participate in educational classes, recreational programs and vocational services that encourage self development, independence and friendship.
