Frameline is the longest-running, largest queer film exhibition in the world, and their mission is to change the world through the power of queer cinema. Frameline also operates the only nonprofit distributor that solely caters to LGBTQ+ film. For this year’s festival, Frameline is going back in person, showing over 90 films representing more than 30 countries! They need your help this Pride month to support queer and trans filmmakers!
Volunteer Roles: Taking tickets, ushering, guest service, vax check, and more!
When: June 16 to the 26th, shifts range from 11am to 10pm
Where: Theaters across San Francisco including the Castro Theatre, Roxie Theater, Kabuki, and the New Parkway in Oakland
After signing up below, you will be added to the general Frameline 46 volunteer list. Closer to the event, we will reach out and connect around logistics to get you set up with individual shift(s).

Founded in 1977, the San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival is the longest-running, largest and most widely recognized LGBTQ+ film exhibition event in the world. As a community event with an annual attendance of 60,000+, the Festival is the most prominent and well-attended LGBTQ+ arts program in the Bay Area. Frameline also presents year-round exhibitions, including Frameline Encore, a free film series highlighting diverse, socially relevant works.
