About Easter in the Park

Easter in the Park is a beloved annual event hosted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at San Francisco’s Mission Dolores Park. Each year, thousands of Bay Area queer, trans, and allied folx gather for a day of music, performance art, and irreverent fun. Festivities begin with children's activities like egg hunts and relay games, followed by a lively stage show featuring drag performers, community advocates, and local artists—culminating in the iconic Hunky Jesus, Foxy Mary, and Bonnet contests, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity, expression, and joy. This year's event takes place on Sunday, April 20 at Mission Dolores Park in San Francisco.
