Deleted World Tarot Exhibition

Volunteer, or attend the event for free to experience an evening of mysticism, wonder and horror as they debut artwork and illustrations from “The Deleted World Tarot,” created by queer, Bay Area artist, Josh Urban Davis.

Part cryptic mysticism, part esoteric arcana, the cards of The Deleted World Tarot depict interconnected histories of the computer and the internet, cybernetics and the counterculture, VaporWave and the Back Rooms, queer bodies and transhumanism, science-fiction and speculative projections of the future, the emergence of new technologies and the rise of the occult.

By representing and re-examining these subjects and histories through the lens of occult belief systems like cartomancy, The Deleted World Tarot takes us to a hypnotic, unnerving liminal space from where one may imagine and construct possible alternative futures.
