Join Day of the Dead Decorating Crew with Mission Cultural Center for Latino Art

The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts (MCCLA) was established by artists and community activists with a shared vision to promote, preserve and develop the cultural arts that reflect the living tradition and experiences of the Chicano, Central and South American, and Caribbean people, and to make arts accessible as an essential element to community development and well-being.

From October 28th through November 18th, MCCLA will be having their 36th Annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration with special events each night like a mole and cake tasting contest, spoken word, and a matinee concert featuring the San Francisco Symphony, the Bernal Hill Players and Day of the Dead Ballet. MCCLA needs volunteer help to decorate the gallery for these events and more!

Volunteer Roles: Volunteers will help with decorating the gallery and event set up for Day of the Dead celebrations.

Date and Time: Various shifts available from Friday, October 28th until Friday, November 18nd.

Location: 2868 Mission Street San Francisco, CA 94110
