Volunteer at the BAAITS 14th Annual Powwow
The 14th Annual Bay Area American Indian Two-Spirit (BAAITS) Powwow is less than two months away and they need volunteers! Their powwow is completely volunteer-run and organized, and throughout the powwow day they serve over 3,000 visitors from all over the U.S. Please consider signing up by filling out the Google form below. They are in need of volunteers the day of the powwow (Feb 1) and/or for set-up the day before (Jan 31).
Mandatory Orientation for all volunteers is provided via Zoom on January 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
Right now, the most urgent need for volunteers is for the breakdown shift on Saturday.

What is this event?
The annual BAAIT-S Powwow is an intertribal social gathering celebrating Two-Spirit Native American culture and traditions through singing, drumming, and dancing. Traditional Native American dancers, drum groups, Mexica dancers, and other artists will be present, and vendors will sell food, handmade Native American jewelry, arts and crafts, and other merchandise. You've got to try an Indian Taco!

When do we need volunteers? Friday, January 31, 2025 8 am - 5 pm, & Saturday, February 1, 2025 10 am - 8 pm (Pick your shift at the sign-up link above!).
The Sign-Up Form will close on Monday, January 27, 2025. Shortly after, we will email you to confirm your shift(s).
