Volunteer with ProjectQ

ProjectQ was founded by Madin Ray Lopez. The organization helps LGBTQIA+ youth navigate a world that perpetually tries to diminish them. Their mission is to use hair and self-empowerment as a form of social justice.

ProjectQ provides free gender affirming haircuts, self empowering workshops, food & hygiene boxes, gender affirming clothing, chest binders, menstrual products, and so much more to LGBTQIA+ youth experiencing homelessness.

They have 9 different programs that fight for the LGBTQIA+ youth community, like haircuts, workshops, donation closets, food & hygiene boxes, internships, job placements, community events, US tours, and an alumni group. They are working towards on-site mental health therapy, a Body Empowerment Program, a computer lab & library, and the ProjectQ Barber School!

Help support this wonderful organization by volunteering with them. Sign up at the link below and check your email afterward for their application link!
